Inspections

Ofsted will carry out their initial registration interview to check our suitability to become a childminder and if successful then Ofsted will register us to be able to provide childcare in our own home. Following this, they will plan to carry out our first graded inspection within 30 months of registering.

Following that and depending on the grade we are awarded, will determine how often we can expect subsequent inspections but they can be up to a maximum of 6 years in between.

However, regardless of the grade we have been awarded, Ofsted could visit before this and they could come at any time, (this can also be unannounced if necessary) where a concern has been raised or complaint made against the provider or setting.

Currently Ofsted operates a 4 point grading system.

  1. Outstanding

  2. Good

  3. Requires Improvement

  4. Inadequate

I am happy and proud to announce that my first graded inspection which was carried out on 1st May 2024 was graded at GOOD
