The Early Years Foundation Stage

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a set of standards that childminders and other early years providers in England must follow to ensure children are safe, healthy and learning and developing well.
The framework applies to children from
birth to five years old and includes seven areas of learning and development to guide us as professional childcare and early years educators in how to engage with children through various activities, experiences, play and learning opportunities.
